away from the camera. let's hope don't forget the drive times are doing all right because it's so early and the traffic is so light. 83 is fine and shawan to the beltway five times. 95 southbound out of the white marsh 6 minute. outer loop bel air to providence6 minutes and 7 minutes between 795 and 70. the city is giving protesters with the occupy baltimore movement a deadline to clear out. and linda so is live downtown with the very latest on what protesters are doing over the past several hours, linda, more people seem to be getting up and moving around and i see more flags behind you a little more activity. >> reporter: yeah, and they didn't adhere to those restrictions at that midnight deadline. city says it's illegal for them to be in the plaza after midnight because it's close tovisitors. they kept the tents up and slept overnight. over night we have people staying here like they have been for the past three weeks. people over there playing video games and people on their cell

phones texting and the computers over here. and just to tell us more about what's going on in this latest deadline from the city. you have been here for a long time. and you guys got this dead behind for the city do you plan to leave? >> no. i don't think it's time yet. >> reporter: what is your plan if the city enforces this and they start with arrest? >> well, that's something that we will discuss in the general assembly when the time right. >> reporter: speaking to one of the ladies they plan to stay here until the job is done what is the job you are talking about? >> the job and you know all the issues we are dealing with, we discuss in the general assembly every night at 8 p.m. and you know then we figure out what to do from there. >> reporter: and how long have you been here? >> i've been here since the first day. >> reporter: and why are you here? >> i am here because things

in the first half-hour we talked about the social media aspect of it. i was down there at 3:30 shooting fresh video for us. saw some guys down there on their million ac books and lap tops. what are they doing with that and moreover they may be using it for a social media aspect but there's a 32 inch led-tv and they are playing a play station station i mean we asked about that earlier and they said it's just to how they let the time go by. obviously they are here all day, all night and that's how they spend their time. they say they are not against having fun. so this is how they are spending their night just staying warm and playing video games with each other and as far as laptop they say they stay connected. they are about social media and this generation is about social media and they are staying connected with what's going on in california, protests getting heated in oakland california, that's what they are watching right now as we speak. so that is why they say they have the things out here. charley. >> all right.

thanks a lot. i guess they can thank corporate america for that and madden for nfl football 2012. moving to atlanta. protesters were booted from thecamp site. officers order people to leave and police moved in. less than 24 hours, after the city's mayor decided to revoke the order allowing protesters to came out in the park. some demonstrators they left willingly and others they ended up being carried off in handcuffs. your mom wasn't there? >> i don't -- shall she is gone and i miss her so much. >> the 5-year-old girl in ohio decided to start her search party when she couldn't find her home. emeal yeah waited home for more than three hours before grabbing the car keys. the 5-year-old was able to turn the car off put it in reverse but then got stuck in a neighbor's yard. that's when she called 911 and police say her mom had been taken to an er earlier that day

now "good morning maryland." >> the amount of student loan debt in the country is now surpassed the credit card debt. the amount is at under 950 billion dollars and today, president obama will announce a plan to ease that burden for

millions of americans. the adid -- corinne redman is here to tell us what he plans to do. >> reporter: the president announced the accelerated pay as you earn which can benefit 1.6 billion borrowers and reduce payments. college students owe $950 billion in student loans that's more than the entire credit card debt in the country. many college students say the debt is so bad they are forced to move back home with mom and dad. the recent survey of this year's college graduates reveals that 85% of them will be moving back home. 5.7 million young adults from ages 25 to 34 now live at home. and that's up 25% in the last four years. two issues causing the debt tuition is spike and new graduates are unable to find work. >> you are seeing this tremendous debt weighing down the young people especially in the economy like this where so many of them are having trouble getting on the first steps of the escalator and beginning a

career. >> who doesn't want the american dream and i am not talking about living in a mansionwe all just want a nice paying job to pay our bills. >> reporter: now white house officials say they would be redirecting projecting savings to provide the no cost benefits to graduates buried in debt. corinne redman, abc2 news. in democracy 2012 news texas governor perry unveiled a sweeping economic plan that he says he will try to implement if elected president. it features a 20% tax and gives taxpayers an option of sticking with the current rates. the plan was releaseded under a cloud of controversy. perry side stepped a reporter'question about whether or not he believes barack obama is born in the u.s. but says he will if he is releases his birth certificate. he said he will if asked. ribbing per-- governor perry's dropped to 5th place in

everywhere. and our highs yesterday well above average once again close to 70. 68 in baltimore and 66 over in easton. and the satellite and radar right now not picking up on a lot in terms of rain. but we are starting to see more cloud cover across the area. and that's the scenario as we go through the remainder of today. we have the cold front back toward the west here. that's going to be sliding on in here and it's going to accompany showers as we go into the afternoon. high pressure sliding off thecoast allowing for the milder air to get in here. i am forecasting around 70 for today. and speak of the milder warm air, we are going to the tropics because we have cur hip rina moving to the west at 4 miles an hour -- hurricane rina moving to the west at 4 miles an hour. it's category 2 right now and could be a category 3 approaching the yucatan peninsula. cozumel, cancun impacted on that. and also we could see portions of florida being impacted as well as the days go on. look at future -- looking at future radar, we will see the
